The intro creates interest and is fairly well developed. The author's point may be present. The info is not very engaging; although, the whole process is covered.
Fair

The introduction may show the process, but the author's point is unclear. There may or may not be accurate/complete information. It lacks detail and creativity. May not cover the whole process.
Poor

The introduction & thesis statement do not introduce the process. No controlling point about the process is evident.
Organization/Structure

Excellent

Logical progression of details with a clear structure that enhances the essay and provides a clear step-by-step description of the process. The transitions are appropriate and used very effectively to indicate the time order of the steps.
Good

Logical progression of details. Transitions are present, but they do not enhance the overall effectiveness of the essay. All steps are covered and in the correct order.
Fair

Organization is clear. Some transitions are present, while others are either inappropriate or missing. Some steps may be missing or not in the proper order.

The display does not have relevant info nor is it organized.
Work Effort

The work was done well to the best of the students' ability. Quality, time and effort were put into the presentation.
Good

A good effort was shown by students. The display shows the capability of the students. It is evident that time and effort were put into this display and presentation.
Fair

Work was done with fair effort, but the quality does not show the capability of the learner. It is evident that the work was rushed or done with lack of effort.
Poor

The work shows lack of effort and is incomplete.
Style

Excellent

The display shows creativity and is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the topic. It is written in the students' own words.
Good

The display is clear and logical and shows initial creativity that may or may not carry through the whole presentation. It is mostly written in the students' own words.
Fair

The display has sparks of creativity but lacks style throughout and reads like a list of facts. It is somewhat written in the students' own words.
Poor

The display is not written in the students' own words and lacks originality and creativity.
