PowerPoint Yearbook Presentation Rubric
This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your PowerPoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Speaker presents in a loud, clear voice and does not read from screen.

Speaker presents in a loud, clear voice but turns to the screen occasionally.

Speakers presents in a voice that is sometimes clear but constantly refers to the presentation.
Poor
Speaker does not present in a loud or clear voice and reads simply from the presentation.
Use of Class Time
Excellent
Used time well during the class period. Focused on getting the project done. Never distracted others.
Finished presentation within 15-20 minutes.
Good
Used time well during the class period. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others. Finished presentation within 15-20 minutes.
Fair
Used some of the class time well during the class period. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others. Either finished the presentation under 15 minutes or over 20 minutes.
Poor
Did not use class time to focus on project OR distracted others. Reminders were given. Finished the presentation way under 15 minutes.
Collaboration

The group members always worked from others' ideas. It was evident that all of the group members contributed equally to the project/presentation.

The group members worked from others' ideas most of the time. Although it seems like every member contributed something, a few members did most of the work and presentation.
