Reflection Paper Reflection Paper A reflection paper is all about your response to the presented material. Consider how the content you have experienced in class broadened your knowledge in the massage therapy field. A reflection paper is not a summary of the material or your thoughts dumped on paper. It is an organized and structured paper incorporating your personal reaction with classroom readings and notes. Be sure to cite specific passages in your paper. Font and/or margins are incorrect or manipulated to take up space.	Excellent Student types a full one page double spaced reflection paper. Font and margins are standard.
Grammar and Spelling	Not Acceptable Student misspells 4 or more words and/or uses incorrect grammar.	Good Student misspells a maximum of 3 words and/or uses incorrect grammar.	Excellent Student uses correct spelling and grammar throughout the personal response.

Content	Need Improvement Student does not follow the reflection paper guidelines. Presentation topic was not clear and or response did not give details, examples or reasons.	Good Student's reflection paper does not clearly identify the main themes of the material and/or reflect classroom experience and/or how it affects their ideas and possible practices in the future.	Excellent Student's reflection paper identifies the main themes of the material integrated with their classroom experience and how they both affected their thinking and practice.
Structure	Need Improvement Student does not follow the proper structure guidelines, missing two areas the structured format.	Good Student's reflection paper is missing one area of the structured format.	Excellent Student includes all requirements described for the specific assignment.
