	Exceeds 4 pts	Met required Expectations 3 pts	Good 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Characteristics	Exceeds Student has gone above and beyond the requirements. Mythological creature contains elements required and student has made a connection to prior knowledge from social studies.	Met required Expectations Student met requirement. Mythological creature contains the elements required AND contains additional accurate info. beyond what was required	Good Visual included some of the elements required and is partially complete.	Poor Mythological creature is lacking in elements required (name and description or ability of god//goddess, civilization associated with the god/goddess(Roman, Greek), how modern day civilization uses the god/goddess/trait is)
Work quality/effort	Exceeds Work exceeds the minimum requirements of what is expected.	Met required Expectations Work is done with effort to meet the requirements of what was expected.	Good Work is done with adequate time and effort and is not a representation of the student's abilities.	Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of - either via rushed work or little time was spent on the final product.
Format/presentation	Exceeds Visual is neat and is a quality presentation and student created additional pieces or items beyond the poster board which exceeds expectations.	Met required Expectations Visual is neat and is a quality presentation. Minimum requirements	Good Visual is kept neat and makes a quality presentation.	Poor Visual not completed and not in the appropriate location.
