Introduction/Lead	Poor Dull. One to two sentences.	Fair Mentions the challenge, but isn't interesting. Short on sentences.	Good Mentions the challenge and makes the reader want to read more. Minimum of 3 sentences.
Conclusion/Closure	Poor Abruptly ends. Does not connect to the beginning. One to two sentences.	Fair Has an ending but leaves you wanting more. Restates the callenge, but sounds repetitive. Short on sentences.	Good Strong conclusion that ties the beginning and the end together. Provides an interesting restatement of the challenge. Minimum of 3 sentences.
Word choice/Strong language	Poor Has only one great word or phrase that helps the reader experience the events.	Fair Has only two or three great words or phrases that help the reader experience the events.	Good Has more than three great words or phrases that help the reader experience the events. Includes simile, metaphor, alliteration, or personification.
