Average - 2 The story is hard to follow and my story is somewhat confusing.	Below Average- 1 The reader will not be able to understand this writing. The ideas do not make sense.
Organization	Advance - 4 The beginning creates interest, the middle is well-developed, and the end is satisfying.	Proficient-3 The story has a clear and interesting beginning, middle, and end.	Average - 2 The story has a clear beginning, middle, and end but needs details to make it interesting.	Below Average- 1 The story does not have a clear beginning, middle, or end. The story is hard to follow.
Fluency	Advance - 4 The story has complete sentences that are varied in style and length. The sentences flow together.	Proficient-3 The story has complete sentences that are varied in length.
