Page to Stage Assessment 
Students are working in groups to take scenes from The Catcher in the Rye and are then required to write a script for that assigned scene. Students will perform the scene to the class in order to better understand Holden's interactions with and reactions to other people.

The performance does not do the scenario justice, and consequently, classmates aren't able to accurately analyze Holden's interactions.

All group members are included, but the performance may be confusing or incomplete. There appears to be an attempt at rehearsal. The performance depicts the novel scenario well enough so that classmates can make a judgment on Holden's interactions.

Performance appears to be rehearsed, all group members are involved, and props are used to enhance the audience's understanding of the scenario. The group depicts the scenario from the novel accurately and consequently, classmates are able to make accurate and thoughtful judgments on Holden's interactions.
