Electronic presentation and oral presentation rubric
The student will create a presentation of (any or all) of the following: research, problem solving, writing, or comparison, demonstrating knowledge of history topic.

Demonstration of Knowledge
A
The work done meets or exceeds expectations and shows that the student is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the student.
B
The work was done with good effort, showing satisfactory knowledge acquisition. It is evident that time was put into this product or presentation.
C
Work is done with fair effort. Demonstrates some knowledge acquisition. It is evident that the work was rushed.
D
Work is done with little effort, and demonstrates little knowledge acquisition. It is evident that the work little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
F
The student did not turn in the assignment or made no attempt to meet the requirements.
Mechanics
A
The product or presentation is creative and visually pleasing, presented in a clear and concise manner, and has zero mechanical errors.
B
The product or presentation is visually pleasing, presented in a clear and concise manner, and has some mechanical errors.
C
The product or presentation is not visually pleasing or is not presented in a clear and concise manner, and has some mechanical errors.
D
The product or presentation is not visually pleasing or is not presented in a clear and concise manner, and has many mechanical errors.

Content
A
The student conducted high quality research (from scholarly sources) or problem solving. Information is accurate and demonstrates critical thinking. It clearly and displays a complete understanding of the topic.
B
The student conducted quality research (including some scholarly sources) or problem solving. Information is mostly accurate and demonstrates some critical thinking. It displays a good understanding of the topic.
C
The student conducted some research (did not use scholarly sources) or problem solving. Information is mostly accurate and demonstrates some critical thinking. It displays a basic understanding of the topic.
D
The student conducted the minimum amount of research (did not use scholarly sources) or problem solving. Information is generally accurate and demonstrates but does not demonstrate critical thinking. It displays a basic understanding of the topic.
F
The student did not turn in the assignment or made no attempt to meet the requirements.

A
Participants were fully engaged throughout the project and/or presentation.

Participants were mostly engaged throughout the project and/or presentation.
