U.S. Constitution Project Rubric

Content Knowledge	1 The student does not have a grasp of the information; or the student did not write information on the given topic. Three or more required elements of the project are missing.	2 The student is uncomfortable with the content and is only able to demonstrate basic concepts. Two required elements are missing.	3 The student is at ease with the content but fails to elaborate. One of the required elements may be missing.	4 The student demonstrates full knowledge of the content (more than required) including The Bill of Rights, parts of the Constitution, Branches of government, and details of one Framer of the Constitution.
Presentation/Neatness	1 The project is difficult to read and is unorganized; lack of creativity; the majority of the project is sloppy	2 The project has three areas that are sloppy; shows minimal creativity, the project is not well organized	3 The project has one or two areas that are sloppy and/or not well organized; shows a satisfactory level of creativity	4 The project is neatly done and well organized; shows an excellent level of creativity. The project includes visuals with a caption for each.
