Poster	Needs work The poster needs some more work. You can do better. Ask for help and we'll get it done together.	Fair The poster is legible, but not decorated.	Good The poster is decorated, and is legible.	Excellent The poster is decorated nicely, and is written very neatly.
Timeline	Needs work The timeline contains less than 3 dates and does include important information.	Fair The timeline contains only the minimum 4 dates, and it is difficult to read. The dates are not important to the person's life.	Good The timeline includes some important dates in the person's life and is in the correct order.	Excellent The timeline is neat, and includes many important dates from the person's life, chronologically.
Paper	Needs work The essay is not written in complete sentences. Let's make the point of the paper a little more clear.	Fair The paper is missing important information and is not written in three paragraphs.	Good The essay has 3 paragraphs, and describes the importance of the person's life in American history.	Excellent The essay is written in 3 paragraphs, flowing smoothly from one paragraph to the next, and written with correct grammar.
Presentation	Needs work There is no apparent reason for the presentation. Let's try another way to describe important events in the person's life.	Fair The presentation is confusing, but includes some important information about the person's life.	Good The presentation is easy to follow, but leaves out important dates/events in the person's life.	Excellent The presentation is easy to follow, the presenter makes eye contact with the audience, and address important events in the person's life.
