Vocabulary Project Vocabulary Project Students were assigned 15 vocabulary words to write the definitions and other words into which describe the word Students will also write the opposite of the word to know what is not. Definitions Student writes what the word means.	Not enough effort Activity does not demonstrate definitions of the words listed.	Shows Minimal Effort Activity somewhat demonstrates definitions. Some may be incorrect.	Some Effort Shown Definitions are used, but some are incorrect.	Outstanding Effort Definitions are written in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
Organization Students will follow the directions for each of the boxes.	Not enough effort Does not show the definition and does not give examples and non-examples of the word. Student gives less than or 50% of the vocabulary words.	Shows Minimal Effort Pages not planned out correctly and work is bunched together. Sentence structure is unclear.	Some Effort Shown Some definitions of the words are unclear however most the word presented is organized and well planned.	Outstanding Effort Students drawings and writing of the word given is presented organized and set into each designated box and planned outstandingly.
Neatness/Drawing Students will draw and create their Freyer model with best effort.	Not enough effort Students did not draw the word or follow directions asked of them.
