Satisfactory The body of the paragraph supports the topic sentence with meaningful details but lacks ideas discussed in class.	Needs Improvement The body of the paragraph supports the topic sentence but also introduces a new idea that is unrelated.	Unsatisfactory The body of the paragraph does not support the topic.
Concluding Sentence The paragraph ends with a concluding sentence that summarizes the topic sentence and the body.	Excellent The concluding sentence recaps the topic sentence and the details in the paragraph body.	Satisfactory The concluding sentence recaps the topic sentence, but not the body of the paragraph.
