Slides
Good
Slides were very neat and a lot of effort was put into making each one. Very few (if any) mistakes were made. Student was very comfortable being able to talk about the weather slide, before transition was activated. Advanced planning shown throughout the presentation.
Fair
Slide information was neat, accurate and easy for class to view. Student had some difficulty remembering how to express weather expressions that complement their weather slides. Some spelling errors were made, but overall, the class could still understand.
Poor
Slide information was not very neat and very little attempt was made to be accurate, and it was not easy for class to view. Student knew very few expressions, and showed that they had not reviewed their project and/or expressions.
Preparation for Presentation
Good
Student was always on task throughout the preparation of project, and perhaps only had to be redirected to work once. Overall, student was very focused and motivated to produce a quality project.
Fair
Student had to be reminded a few times throughout the preparation to stay on task and to refocus. Once or twice, the student would try to engage others to talk about things other than the subject of the project.
Poor
Throughout the preparation period, student had to constantly be reminded to refocus and concentrate on their project. Project seemed rushed; explaining the overall poor quality of project and presentation.
Forecast
Good
Weather forecast was accurate for chosen region and well depicted in each slide. Images were clear and no watermarks were present.
Fair
Weather forecast was mostly accurate for chosen region, but some of the images used did not match up well with weather expression. One or two images used contained watermarks.
Poor
Weather expressions used were (for the most part) completely inaccurate for chosen region, and the images chosen to represent chosen expressions in no way matched what was being discussed. Every image used had a watermark.
Pronunciation
Good
An excellent effort to have a clear Spanish accent. Very few if any mistakes were made with pronunciation of words and expressions. Very easy to understand and follow!
Fair
A fair effort was made to have a decent Spanish accent, as well to make themselves understood. A few errors were made, and understanding may have been affected a couple of times.
Poor
Very little effort was put into having even a comprehensible Spanish accent. Pronunciation was not thought about, and the audience had a very hard time understanding what was being said.
