	Insightful 100 pts	Acceptable 85 pts	Cursory 70 pts	Unacceptable 50 pts
Reflection 40 %	Insightful Reflection is insightful and academic and the student critically assesses the material.	Acceptable Reflection is adequate and the student acceptably assesses the material.	Cursory Reflection is cursory and the student produces only a basic assessment of the material.	Unacceptable Reflection is not acceptable and the student shows lack of effort to assess the material.
Comprehension 40 %	Insightful Student shows full comprehension of the concept of tone and its components by accurately answering all questions.	Acceptable Student shows adequate comprehension of the concept of tone and its components by accurately answering most questions.	Cursory Students shows a somewhat adequate the concept of tone and its components by accurately answering some questions.	Unacceptable Students does not demonstrate knowledge of the concept of tone and its components and does not accurately answer most questions.
Format 20 %	Insightful Student fully answers all questions, follows the formatting directions, and uses vocabulary and grammar expected of an honors English student.	Acceptable Student fully answers most questions, follows most formatting directions, and generally uses vocabulary and grammar expected of an honors English student.
