Story Adaptation
Exceeds
This is the exact same story it is just actied out with diologue. I had little or no use for a narrator because I used diologue and actions of my character to explain the story.
Grade Level
This is the exact same story it is just actied out with diologue. I did have to use a narrator to help me exaplin parts of my story.
Basic
This stroy was similar to the original. There were some differences though and it was hard to understand the problem and solution.
Below Basic
This was only a little bit like the original story.
Diologue
Exceeds
The diologue really represented thast characters. We could clearly understand who each character was by what he or she said.

The characters used words to explain the story, but they weren't talking like themselves. Instead, they told to story much like an author would.
Basic
Some parts of what they characters were saying was confusing or unnessicary to the play.
Below Basic
The diologe was not clear and did not help us act out the play.

The stage directions helped us understand exactly how the character was feeling.
Grade Level
The stage directions helped us understand some of the character's emotions
Basic
The stage directions helped us understand the story a little bit, but you could have used more to really create powerful emotions for the character.
Below Basic
The stage directions were confusing, or they did not help us understand the story.
Acting
Exceeds
The actors were like professionals! They had their scripts memorized and were loud and clearly speaking! They used the stage directions!
Grade Level
The actors did a nice job but they used their scripts for lines and stage directions.
Basic
Sometimes we could not hear the actor and not everyone used stage directions.
