	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Length	Poor Student writes one or no sentences	Fair Student writes at least 3 sentences	Good Student writes at least 4 sentences.
Grammar and Spelling	Poor Student does not use complete sentences and the writing piece contains many spelling and punctuation errors	Fair Student may not have complete sentences or has some spelling and/or punctuation errore	Good Student makes a good attempt to write complete sentences without spelling or punctuation errors.
Ideas and Details	Poor Ideas are not clear	Fair Ideas are clear but there is minimal detail	Good Ideas are clear and there are many details and/or examples
