structure of the lesson. It is clear that the student will use the material outside in real life application. Correct and fluent use of the past structures.
Comprehension

The book review is unclear. Names the title and the author but the story is confusing.

The student has difficulties explaining what the book was about though manages to create short sentences in present. Repeats the same vocabulary.

Student is able to explain the story with some mistakes but fluency.
Excellent

The student is fluent. The story is clear and both vocabulary and grammar are correct.
