Attitude	Needs intervention Refuses to complete tasks. "I don't care" attitude	Poor Needs prompting or attention from the from the instructor to stay on task	Good Participates, but works slowly (on purpose) or does not put forth best effort.	Best Participates with positive attitude and completes work without reminders.
Tasks Completed	Needs intervention Does not complete any tasks required.	Poor Needs help with over 50% of duties	Good Needs help with 25% of duties.	Best Completes all tasks without any help.
Effort	Needs intervention Does not ask for help when needed. Needs frequent teacher reminders to start work or stay on task.	Poor Does not ask for help when needed. Has a problem staying on task, or fills information without giving a effort. Filling in erroneous or general information to get the work completed.	Good Asks for help when needed. Stays on task, but does not always give his/her best effort. (May speed through assignments to finish early.)	Best Asks for help when needed. Stays on task and completes the assignment to the best of his/her ability.
Focus	Needs intervention Often not focused on work. Spends time engaged in other activities other than the assigned work.	Poor Incomplete focus. Spends time engaged in other activities, must be reminded to stay on task.	Good Generally focused, May occasionally or briefly engage in other activities other than the assignment.	Best Stays on task and completes the assignment before engaging in other activities.
