Topic sentences are included, but may not be easily connected. Or topic sentences are not easily found. Essay may have a body paragraph or two missing.
Does Not Meet Standards
There is no clear thesis statement. The reader has to figure out the main topic of the essay. Topic sentences do not connect or support the thesis. Body paragraphs are lacking or are not present.
