Heath Class Participation Rubric Green Squad Class Participation Rubric (15 POINTS )- (4 points each section). All students are expected to participate in class! Forms of participation other than participating in class discussion (although this is a primary form of participation) include coming to me for extra help, giving other students feedback in class, and consistent attendance. PUNCTUALITY	Excellent Student is on time and sitting ready to begin class.	Good Student is on time but not ready to start class.	Fair Student is on time but is disruptive to other students and is not ready to start class.	Needs Improvement Student is late and disrupts class by entering late.
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR	Excellent Student frequently asks questions, participates in pair/group discussions, stays on task and works on projects/assignments.	Good Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in pair/group discussions, and has a tendency to stray from projects/assignments.	Fair Student rarely participates in class, struggles with pair/group discussions and is constantly redirected to work on projects/assignments.	Needs Improvement Student is constantly off task (has two or more redirects) and does not participates in class, does not participate in pair/group discussions and has done little to no work on the projects/assignments.
PREPARATION	Excellent Student is always prepared for class with assignments and required materials punctually.	Good Student is usually prepared for class with assignments and required materials	Fair Student is frequently unprepared for class with assignments and required materials.	Needs Improvement Student is almost always unprepared for class with assignments.
