Sources	Poor Students uses only one source to find information about the topic	Fair Students uses 2 sources to find information about the topic	Good Student uses 3 or more sources to find information about the topic
Note Taking	Poor Student has only 1-2 facts per source. and the notes are vague.	Fair Students has 3-4 notes per source and the most some notes are vague or but some notes are directly from the text	Good Students has 4 or more notes per source and the notes are directly from the text and explicit
Topic Response	Poor Student does not have a focused topic sentence and details do not come from the sources .	Fair Student have a focused topic sentence and some of the details to support his or her opinion is supported by the text but may have unrelated reasons.	Good Student have a focused topic sentence and most of the details are quoted from text to accurately support his or her opinion.
