Good 1-2 minute written introduction fulfilling most of the requirements.	Fair Written introduction that does not fulfill most of the requirements	Poor Introduction not turned in.
Character research	Excellent Questions are thoroughly researched, primary source documents used, quoted.	Good Questions are researched, one or more primary source documents are used and quoted.	Fair Questions vaguely researched, no primary source documents are used.	Poor Questions have not been researched or minimal effort.
Topical Research	Excellent Topics are thoroughly explained and questions are written for other Enlightenment thinkers. Primary source documents are relevant, quoted.	Good Topics are explained and a few questions are written for the other thinkers. One or more primary source documents	Fair Topics are vaguely explained and one or less questions are written. No primary source documents are used.	Poor No or little attempt.
