Completion and following directions	Excellent Superior completion. Writing is appropriate with elaboration. Exceeds expectations, Content is well organized. Topic is discussed thoroughly.	Good Completion of Task. Responses appropriate and adequately developed. Meets expectations. Presentation is generally logical. Most information on topic is included.	Average Completed task. Responses somewhat inappropriate. Last minute product. Lacking effort. Writing is somewhat illogical and confusing in places. Information on topic lacking.	Limited Minimal attempt to complete task, response frequently inappropriate. Unsatisfactory. Poorly organized. Incomplete coverage of topic.	Poor Does not meet requirements given or uses a translator.
Comprehensability	Excellent Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Correct use of Spanish words known.	Good Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish words known.	Average Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate. Incorrect use of known Spanish words.	Limited Incomprehensible throughout.	Poor Uses a translator.
Vocabulary/Content	Excellent Writer goes above and beyond, using a wide variety of vocabulary. Correct usage of new or unfamiliar vocabulary.	Good Writer uses a variety of relevant vocabulary. Vocabulary is appropritate to the level and topic.	Average Writer uses some vocabulary. Most of the vocabulary is basic and repetitive.	Limited Writer doesn't use sufficient vocabulary.
