6th Grade World Studies Power Point 
The purpose of this unit is to facilitate student learning about the world in which we live. The student has decided to create a power point to present their chosen topic. The student will use various sources to conduct research in order to be able to present facts about their chosen topic to include resources, culture, government, religion, geography, political atmosphere, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. as it relates to their chosen topic After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and develop a presentation about their topic.
