Less than three vignettes are written, and may be shorter than original vignette length in the book.
• Paragraphs demonstrate confused organization.
• The focus of each vignette is unclear and contains interruption, digressions, and/or distractions that confuse the reader.

Three vignettes are written, but one may be shorter than the original vignette length. Formatting is generally correct.
• Paragraphs demonstrate general organization.
• The focus of each vignette is somewhat clear and may contain some interruption, digressions, or distractions may confuse the reader.

Three vignettes are written, are at least close in length to the original vignette, and properly formatted with minimal deviation.
• Paragraphs are organized clearly.
• The focus of each vignette is clear and contains little interruption or distraction.

Three vignettes are written, are at least the same length as the vignette from the book.
• Paragraphs are organized in a logical, fluid way.
• A clear focus is established and maintained in each vignette that strongly contributes to the story each vignette tells.

The final project is poorly put together and/or has major design flaws. There isn't a single decorative element present in the project.

The final project is well crafted, well designed and shows a great deal of effort on the student's part. It may not have photos or pictures for every vignette.
