Freedom Rider Interview Group Interview Presentation Rubric This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions. Group Presentation Rubric
	Advanced 4 pts	Proficent 3 pts	Basic 2 pts	Below Basic 1 pts
Teamwork/Participation	Advanced The group worked very well with each other and the presentation was shared equally among the group members.	Proficent The group worked well with each other and communicated well. Some members participated slightly more than others.	Basic Group communicated relatively well with a few lapses in the presentation; some students dominated the presentation and others did not participate much.	Below Basic Group did not work well together. There were obvious miscommunications and lapses in the presentation.
Content	Advanced Group members had a stronghold on the the facts and the facts were thoroughly addressed. No mistakes were made with regard to content knowledge.	Proficent Group members have a solid understanding of the facts . Content(facts) missing minor elements or contained minor errors.	Basic Group members had only a superficial understanding of content (facts). Several mistakes were made during the presentation.	Below Basic Group members had little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation.
Questions	Advanced At least 5 questions were extremely deep and interesting. They help the viewer to have a deeper understanding of the facts and characters.	Proficent At least 5 questions were somewhat deep and interesting. They somewhat help the viewer to have a better understanding of the facts and characters.	Basic At least 5 questions were plot based or basic. Questions don't really help the viewer have a better understanding of the character.	Below Basic Questions were poor and ill formed.
Answers	Advanced Answers are very well thought out with extreme attention to detail and much of the knowledge based in findings in the Freedom Riders packet or the internet research.	Proficent Answers are fairly well thought out with some attention given to the knowledge found in the Freedom Riders packet or the internet research.	Basic Answers are haphazard and do not really address the question asked. They fail to show preparation.	Below Basic Answers are unlikely with no base in the Freedom Riders packet or the internet research.
