Collect-All Box
You will be creating a project over a historical person, place, or thing covered during the Civil War Era (1850-1900). The project will require you to explore, think, and piece together artifacts that pertain to your topic. After researching your topic, think about what artifacts (tangible pieces of information) might be used to help other people fully understand what you learned. These artifacts could be documents, clothing, pictures, supplies, or anything else pertaining to the topic. You are required to have a variety of artifacts. You are then going to create or find 12 artifacts relating to your topic. After you have collected or made your artifacts, write a paragraph for each artifact explaining the significance to the topic. You must honor the appropriate citation mechanics. Place the artifacts into a box (drawer) for a viewing for other students. Your box (or drawer) must be designed according to the relevance of your topic along with a title.
