Character Analysis
	Fair 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
Character Traits	Fair Students can recall only three or less accurate charater traits.	Good Students can recall characteristics, four or less are written clearly.	Excellent Students have demonstrated they can recall the major characterstics and personality traits of a particular character in the text. At least four traits are written.
Quotations	Fair Students have not added any quotes, or added an incorrect quote.	Good Students have included one quotation from the novel.	Excellent Students have included two or more accurate quoations in the sketch.
Creativity	Fair Students have no pictures, drawing, catchy phrases, or personal flair. There are no references to the setting or time period in which the character lived.	Good Students have added some personal flair, but no pictures, drawings or references to the time/setting in which the character thrived.	Excellent Students have included personal flair, color, pictures, or drawings. Made inferences about the character, and references to the historical time period/idealogies in which it is written.
