Objective is to try and obtain as smooth a gradation as possible in ten steps from white to black.

Clean hard edge lines, no smudges.painted values are smooth solid value fills, can not see white of bristol board coming through.

Student took the time to obtain near perfect craft. all edges are extremelly hard edge and white spaces do not have smears or smudges.

Paint covers are smooth and solid, for the most part you can not see the white of the bristol board coming through.
