Biomes
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Excellent 5 pts
The name of the biome.	Poor Students do not tell the class what biome they are presenting.	Fair Students talk about their biome, but do not tell the class the name of their biome.	Excellent Students tell the class the name of their biome before going into the presentation.
Creativity	Poor Students are not very creative with the way they construct their biome (hardly any animals, no trees, lakes, rivers, ponds, etc).	Fair Students give some effort into creativity, but leave out a lot of detail.	Excellent Students are very creative in the way their used their materials from class and home to construct their biome.
Temperature	Poor Students do not tell the class what the temperature is like in their biome.	Fair Students tell the class it is freezing, hot, warm, cold, etc, but do not say the temperatures in degrees.	Excellent Students give the temperatures in degrees.
Location	Poor Students do not describe what part of the world (countries, etc) their biomes are located.	Fair	Excellent Students state the exact countries their biomes are located.
Animals	Poor Students do not talk about the animals that live in their biomes.	Fair Students have animals inside their biome but do not talk about them.	Excellent Students have animals in their biome, and they describe why they are there.
Presentation Style	Poor Only one student is talking about the biome, and giving the entire presentation.	Fair Some students are talking about their biome, but others are left out. There are few interruptions.	Excellent All students are talking about one aspect of their biome, and there are no interruptions.
