Students, in groups or individually, are to select a major theme, write a thematic statement for the chosen theme, and provide support both visually and with quotes/examples from the literary work.

Fair job: evidence of the group off task, and some of the time in class was used to socialize. Some group members were absent, therefore, slowing down the pace and work accomplished. Project was not ready on time.
1: Needs Improvement

Poor: group members were off task and socializing. Absences from group members slowed down the pace of work. Project was than one day late.
