Classroom Artwork
	Level 4 25 pts	Level 3 25 pts	Level 2 25 pts	Level 1 25 pts
Understanding Demonstration that instructions and concepts are understood.	Level 4 Artwork is planned with a high degree of care; thorough understanding of all or almost all concepts and instructions is demonstrated.	Level 3 Art work is planned with considerable care; considerable understanding of concepts and instructions is demonstrated.	Level 2 Artwork is planned with some care; some understanding the concepts and instructions is demonstrated.	Level 1 Little evidence of planning. Artwork demonstrates limited understanding of the concepts and instructions.
Craftsmanship/ Skill Neatness, precision, care.	Level 4 Artwork shows a high degree of craftmanship, with thorough attention to detail.	Level 3 Artwork shows considerable craftmanship, with attention to detail.	Level 2 Artwork shows some craftmanship with some attention to detail.	Level 1 Artwork shows limited craftmanship and little attention to detail.
Creativity/ Originality Inventiveness, expression of ideas and imagination.	Level 4 Artwork shows a high degree of personal expression.	Level 3 Artwork shows a considerable amount of personal expression.	Level 2 Artwork shows some personal expression.	Level 1 Artwork lacks evidence of personal expression.
Effort What it takes to finish the project as well as possible. Time dedicated to the project inside and/or out of class.	Level 4 The student put forth a high degree of effort required to complete the project; used class time very well.	Level 3 The student put forth considerable effort required to finish the project; used class time well.	Level 2 The student put forth some effort required to finish the project; used class time adequately.	Level 1 The student put forth little or no effort or the project was not completed; inadequate use of class time.
