Storyboard Rubric 
Students will create, in groups, a storyboard depicting their story of choice. With photos of the storyboards, the students will then create a book trailer using Movie Maker. Each student is expected to present their book trailer in Edmodo.

The project includes 6+ frames, and the arc of the story is clearly shown and accurate.
Good

The project includes 5-6 frames, and the story is shown but missing 1-2 aspects, but the arc is still accurate.
Fair

The project includes 4-5 frames, and the story is missing 3 or more important details which alters the accuracy of the story.
Needs Improvement

The project includes 3-4 frames and the arc of the story is only slightly accurate.
Poor

The project includes less than 3 frames and the arc of the story is indistinguishable.
Visual Elements

Exemplary

All pictures demonstrate effort and are eye-catching and clearly communicate visually the section of the story depicted in each panel.
Good

Most pictures show effort and clearly communicate an element in your story. It is evident that time was put into the storyboard and presentation.
Fair

Some pictures show effort and basically depict an element in your story. It is evident that some time was put into your storyboard, but appears rushed/careless in some places.
Needs Improvement

Many pictures appear rushed or are uninteresting. The connections to the elements of the story are often unclear and not obvious.
Poor

The overall appearance of your storyboard is sloppy and rushed. Work is done with little effort, quality is poor. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
