Point of View Creative Writing Assignment Point of View Creative Writing Assignment Students will "assume" different points of view. Students will create short, descriptive pieces of writing reflecting point of view of an object associated with their holiday break. 60 pts possible. 	Poor 5 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 15 pts
Creativity & Understanding	Poor Writing shows limited creativity, lacks detail and vivid description. Demonstrates little or no understanding of Point of View in the writing process.	Fair Writing shows moderate detail and has some vivid description. Demonstrates a limited understanding of Point of View in the writing process.	Good Writing shows great detail and vivid description. Demonstrates a deep understanding of Point of View in the writing process.
Writing Process	Poor Writing was obviously not self revised and edited and contained many grammar errors.	Fair Writing was somewhat self revised and edited and contained some grammatical grammar errors.	Good Writing was self revised and edited and contained very few grammatical grammar errors.
Meets the Deadline	Poor Writing was submitted two days past the assignment due date and may or may not have rubric.	Fair Writing was submitted one day late. May or may not have rubric.	Good Writing was submitted on assignment due date with rubric.
Oral Reading	Poor Student failed to complete oral part of the project or did not read loudly and clearly enough for the other students to hear.	Fair Student read assignment somewhat loudly and clearly. It was obvious that the student rehearsed a bit and was prepared. Other students may or may not have been able to guess the object.	Good Student read assignment loudly and clearly. It was obvious that the student rehearsed and was prepared. Other students were able to guess the object because of details.
