The poster includes all information relevant to the topic in an organized fashion.

Poster includes all relevant information; however, it is not well-organized.

Does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion
Poor

The poster is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented. There is at least 100 words more or less than the required amount.
Work quality/effort

Exceeds

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Good

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
group work

Exceeds

The group worked very well with each other and the presentation was shared equally among the group members.
Good

The group worked well with each other and communicated well. Some members participated slightly more than others
Fair

Group communicated relatively well with a few lapses in the presentation; some students dominated the presentation and others did not participate much
Poor

The group did not communicate well and there was considerable amount of disagreement. Not all students participated.

Exceeds

The student presents the information clearly and displays a complete understanding of their information. It is evident that the student was well prepared.

The student presents the information fairly clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information.

The information presented is not cleary displayed throughout the project
Poor

Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information, it therefore lacks many elements of what is expected.
Presentation Time

Exceeds

Presentation is between 4 minutes, 30 seconds and 5 minutes, 30 seconds long.
Good

Presentation is no more than one minute too long or short.
Fair

Presentation is no more than 2 minutes too long or short.
Poor

Presentation is no more than 3 minutes too long or short.
Research Time

Exceeds

Presenters spend class time wisely. They require no instructor prompting to work appropriately. If they finish early, presenters occupy themselves and do not become a distraction to others.
Good

Presenters spend class time wisely. They require minimal instructor prompting to work appropriately. If they finish early, presenters are not much of a distraction to others.
Fair

Presenters spend class time somewhat wisely. They work efficiently when prompted by the instructor. If they finish early, presenters need some prompting to keep them from distracting others.
Poor

Presenters do not spend class time wisely. They require significant prompting from the instructor to stay on task, and become a distraction when they are finished.
