Overall presentation Presentations should be 5-7 minutes in length	Poor Student presentation is unclear and unorganized.	Fair Student presentation is somewhat unclear.	Good Student presentation is clear and understandable.	Excellent Student gives an excellent presentation. Material is presented thoroughly in a clear and concise manner
Relevancy to rotation Presentation must give clear and concise overview of case and brief review of current and pertinent literature	Poor Presentation reflects little knowledge of subject matter.	Fair Presentation reflects some understanding of subject matter but no real understanding of its application to current surgical practice.	Good Presentation demonstrates knowledge of current surgical practice in a clear and concise manner.	Excellent Presentation demonstrates knowledge of current surgical practice in a clear and concise manner. Shows clear understanding of the relationship between literature and practice.
Information Presented Presentation is well organized and understandable	Poor Student provided information that was fragmented and unclear.	Fair Student provided information that was somewhat unclear to audience.	Good Student provided information that was understood and clearly delivered.	Excellent Student provided information that was understood, clearly delivered, and is interesting to audience.
Eye contact/voice	Poor Student had no or minimal eye contact. Students' voices were inaudible, they mumbled, or were otherwise not understood	Fair Student occasionally used eye contact. Students' voices were difficult to hear, used "ums" or other fillers	Good Student maintained eye contact most of the time. Voice was clear and understandable, minimal fillers used	Excellent Student maintained excellent eye contact and was easily understood. Spoke about subject with authority and ease.
