World War II Project
This rubric is best used for a project that comes after the students learned about WWII. My students are allowed to pick their own topic and design their own project (with my approval) to best reflect their interests and talents. Each project must have a visual component, and a written component that is 2-5 pages in length.

Student work is less than a page and may not completely be in their own words.
Student is not on topic for the entire paper
Student does not explain the process and the development behind their project nor do they explain the relevance of the project or what they learned in the process of the project
Student makes many grammatical and mechanical mistakes that takes away from the content.
Poor
Student work is at the minimum of 2 pages or just under
Student is not consistently on topic throughout the paper
Student is beginning to explain the process and the development behind their project, but do not explain the relevance of the project or what they learned in the process of the project
Student makes numerous grammatical and mechanical mistakes that take away from the content of the material
Fair
l Student work is at the minimum of 2 pages or has gone over the 5 page maximum
Student stays on topic for a majority of the paper.
Student explains the process and the development behind their project but does not explain the relevance of the project or explain what they learned in the process of the project
