Student is willing to learn new skills with a minimum of teacher input above the instruction time and tries their very best.

Student improves skills with some input from the teacher above the instruction time.

Student puts little effort into improving skills. Student requires quite a bit of teacher input above the instruction time.

Student sometimes listens to the instructor, and needs many reminder to get on task. Student is sometimes disrespectful to teacher and classmates. Equipment and/or textbook are often not handled properly.
Poor

Student rarely listens to the instructor, disrupts class and is not involved with the class activity. Equipment and/or textbook are usually not handled properly.
