Principle of Design

Inspiration from Museum	Poor An inspiration piece was not very apparent.	Fair Some inspiration was seen	Good The inspiration was incorporated, but too close to the original	Excellent Inspiration was apparent and morphed into an original piece of artwork
Craftmanship	Poor The work was poor, possibly sloppy and time was not used wisely. More attention to detail should have been used.	Fair The work was fair. Time may not have been used well. The piece of artwork may have looked unfinished.	Good The work was good, but the student could have used their time more wisely and paid more attention to the details.	Excellent The student took their time and did excellent work. The student paid good attention to detail.
Creativity	Poor The student did not get very creative.	Fair There was some creativity there, but more could have been done.	Good The student started to push outside the box and come up with a creative solution to the assignment.	Excellent The student was very creative, thought outside the box, but still incorporated the point of the assignment.
Use of Elements and Principles	Poor Little to no knowledge of the elements and principles was used in the planning and execution of the artwork	Fair Some knowledge of the elements and principles is apparent, but not considered through out the piece	Good The student's knowledge of the elements and principles was used, but more consideration should have been used	Excellent The student's knowledge of the elements and principles was used to create a well planned out piece of artwork
