Multimedia Project Multimedia Project Design a multimedia project of your choice that: •uses Microsoft PowerPoint •includes cooperative groups •includes research to find information or data •includes a presentation of information. When selecting a topic, keep in mind the due date for topic choice and how well your topic can inform and address all areas of the rubric. Multimedia Project
	Poor 0 pts	Satisfactory 2.5 pts	Above Average 5 pts
Deadlines/Topic Choice	Poor Presentation deadline was not met. Presentation did not meet assignment requirements. Topic inappropriate.	Satisfactory Deadlines were met but tasks were not well defined. Presentation has potential, but potential was not completely met.	Above Average Deadline was met. Topic choice was excellent and ideas carried on to completion.
Technology	Poor Final project did not meet all of the technical requirements, instructions not followed, etc.	Satisfactory Project did display data and research. Students did not present data or research in the best format to show results.	Above Average Use of multimedia was not a distraction but an aide in the presentation of data. Set up and format went beyond merely meeting requirements.
Navigation	Poor Hyperlinks non-working or took the user to the incorrect location.	Satisfactory Requirements were met, website easy to navigate, links work properly.	Above Average Website sparks interest and is easy to navigate. Links work properly and encourage the continuation of the learning process.
Research and Data	Poor Research was sparse. Data found was borrowed or irrelevant to topic.	Satisfactory Students performed research and presented data. Sources included are credible and documented. Data was relevant to the subject material.
Presentation	Poor Effort was not informative or clearly communicated.	Satisfactory Presentation was complete. Lacks creativity or would be difficult to use in a classroom setting.	Above Average Presentation was clear and thorough. End result was creative and useable in a classroom setting.
Grammar/Spelling	Poor There were grammatical and/or spelling errors throughout the presentation.	Satisfactory No errors in grammar or spelling. Instruction unclear or hard to follow, not appropriate for the intended age group.	Above Average No grammatical or spelling errors. Instruction age appropriate. Subject material able to hold intrest and promote learning.
