Descriptive Writing / Figurative Language Rubric 
Students will describe something in the novel in a paragraph or two. Writing will be graded on capitalization, punctuation, use of main idea and supporting details, plural and possessive noun use, subject/verb tense and agreement, and descriptors using 5 senses.
