Carole's Comments

Fair. 2 Points.

This site is designed for Univ. of Florida student use, so it is narrow in scope--especially in comparison to the Purdue OWL. The site does offer some good writing information--but not too much.
Organization

Excellent

All of the information is presented in a clear, concise manner, and can be easily navigated.
Good

Most of the information is presented in a clear, concise manner, and can be easily navigated.
Fair

Some of the information is presented in a clear, concise manner, and cannot be easily navigated.
Unsatisfactory

Very little information is presented in a clear, concise manner, and cannot be easily navigated.
Carole's Comments

Good. 3 Points.

I love the graphic on this site's opening page. Very eye catching! I also have to admit to liking a site that is spare in design. However, this OWL is spare simply because it does not have a great deal of information. If it had been possible to assign a 2.5 in this evaluation area, I would have done so. Instead, I will assign a 3 because of that opening graphic!
Authenticity

Excellent

All of the sources are clearly cited, and they are credible sources. The author is clearly stated in all cases.
Good

Most of the sources are clearly cited, and most of them are credible sources. The author is clearly stated in most cases.
Fair

Some of the sources are clearly cited, and some of them are credible sources. The author is clearly stated in some cases.
Unsatisfactory

Very few of the sources are clearly cited, and very few or none of them are credible sources. The author is clearly stated in very few cases or not at all.
Carole's Comments

Good. 3 Points.

I see no place where source attribution is a problem. In fact, the site offers some information on plagiarism and documentation. However, as previously noted, the site is not very extensive.
Attention to Detail

Excellent

All of the information is clearly explained and well formatted. There are no errors in gramatical set-up.
Good

Most of the information is clearly explained and well formatted. There are very few errors in gramatical set-up.
Fair

Some of the information is clearly explained and well formatted. There are some errors in gramatical set-up.
Unsatisfactory

Very little of the information is clearly explained and well formatted. There are some errors in gramatical set-up.
Carole's Comments

Fair. 2 Points.

This site has potential. I plan on visiting it frequently to watch it grow.
