Product Participation This Rubric is a basic design for general participation in the art room during a assignment requiring the construction of a product. Rubric Code: W2B8W8 By AHipple Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Arts and Design Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Engagement Student attempts to engage in the given assignment	Poor Student falls asleep or attempts to leave table during assignment	Fair Student gives assignment more than 60% of his or her attention and stays at table for whole class period	Good Student remains awake, alert and focused on the task. Active attempt is made to achieve the given objective(s)
Creativity Student attempts to use his or her own ideas during assignment	Poor Student does not attempt to become involved in the assignment	Fair Given a choice, student chooses colors, materials, and/or placement of items in the picture plane	Good Student take basic assignment and adds his or her own ideas that make the product uniquely their own invention
Attitude Student remains positive during assignment and does nothing to interfere with other's work	Poor Student attempts to disengage from assignment and also draws other students into disengagement	Fair Student does not attempt to work on the assignment, but does not cause other students to disengage	Good Student remains engaged, enthusiastic and active during the assignment
