Road Trip! Pythagorean Project For the next month, we will be using Academic Literacy class to plan a road trip. The scoring rubric for your assignment is provided below. Rubric Code: W2ABB3 By acalfieri Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Math Type: Project Grade Levels: 6-8

	Excellent 100 pts	Average 50 pts	Poor 25 pts
Research/ Reference	Excellent You have a complete list of where all your information came from. The list should include which map site was used, the hotel websites, food pricing website, website used for photos, and any other expenses accrued on the trip.	Average You have 75% of your references listed, including web addresses.	Poor You have very few correct references listed for your project. You do not include web addresses.
Itinerary: Word Doc	Excellent Your schedule for the 2 week trip is complete, including mileage per day, hotel reservations each night, sightseeing, entertainment and meal plans.	Average You do not have a complete schedule for the trip. You are missing 1-2 parts of the information required.	Poor Your schedule is sloppy, and incomplete. 3 or more categories are missing or incomplete.
Budget: Excel	Excellent Your budget includes all expenses for your trip. Some requirements include: Rental car, gas, food, hotel, admission to any attractions, etc. At least 6 categories must be listed, and the correct formulas must be used for the totals.	Average Your budget is incomplete. You have 4-5 categories, but you do use the formula to calculate total expenses.	Poor Your budget is incomplete. You do not use the formula to calculate total costs.
Virtual Scrapbook: Powerpoint	Excellent Your powerpoint is at least 6 slides in length. It includes photos, a description of your trip, rough itinerary, budget information, and animation. Be creative!	Average Your powerpoint is missing 1 of the key elements listed in the excellent section.	Poor Your powerpoint is missing 2 or more elements required.
