	Poor 1 pts	Moderate 2 pts	Great 3 pts
Participation	Poor Student does not speak in discussion.	Moderate Student speaks in the discussion, but with little relevance to the question asked OR student speaks in discussion but does not respond to other students' thoughts.	Great Student speaks in the discussion, with relevance to the question being discussed. Student responds to other student's thoughts respectively.
Attentiveness	Poor Student is often inattentive to other speakers.	Moderate Student is sometimes inattentive to other speakers.	Great Student is always attentive to other speakers.
Insight	Poor Student adds little to no insight to discussion.	Moderate Student adds some insights to discussion but fails to go beyond surface level.	Great Student adds analytical insights into discussion.
