Presentations Of Learning
Presentations of Learning are demonstrations of the students' abilities to present themselves and their education over the last academic year. It will be measured by written papers, oral presentation, and a visual presentation. The student will need to surround their presentation of learning around their personal and academic growth from kindergarten until their present grade.

Good
Student has developed his or her paper around their thesis statement and has followed it in a clear, organized manner. Each topic has been discussed thoroughly and has few spelling and grammar errors.
Advanced
Student has a strong thesis statement and has used it to clearly organize their paper. The student will have thoroughly discussed each topic using appropriate language and little or no grammar and spelling errors. The paper is strong from introduction through conclusion.
Visual
Unacceptable
Did not complete visual.
Poor
Visual presentation follows no clear organization. It is either too cluttered or under done. It does not relate to the essay and has many errors in spelling or grammar.
Fair
Visual presentation is lacking in organization, but it is still put together nicely. May be too cluttered or not have enough content, but it follows the essay and has errors in spelling and grammar.
Good
Visual presentation is organized, but a little too overdone or underdone. It uses appropriate language and examples, and relates to the essay. Few errors in spelling and grammar.
Advanced
Visual presentation is organized and clear. It is uncluttered and uses appropriate language and examples. Visual presentation relates to the essay. Little or no errors in grammar and punctuation.
Oral
Unacceptable
Did not give speech.
Poor
Student cannot be easily understood and uses filler words consistently. The student may not have notecards and is unprepared or student reads from their notecards the entire time. It is unorganized and strays from the paper.
Fair
Student may not speak loudly and may speak to slow or too fast. Student uses few filler words and read from their notecards. The speech is organized from the paper, but gets off topic every now and then.
Good
Student speaks clearly, but maybe a little fast or a little slow. Student does not use filler words like "um," "uh," or "like." They use the notecards to read from but still make eye contact with the audience. The speech is organized from the paper and explains topics thoroughly.
Advanced
Student speaks clearly and at a pace that is easy to follow. He or she does not use words like "um," "uh," or "like." They do not rely on notecards to read from, only to refer to. The speech is organized from the paper and explains topics thoroughly.
