Les Stéréotypes Apropos des Français chez les Américains 
Research 3 (three) common stereotypes that the Americans have of the French, and give your opinion of why Americans may have adopted these stereotypes as truth. Also, make sure you've researched the origins of the stereotypes that you've chosen. You must make sure that you have images to complement each stereotype.

Explanation / history of stereotype

Student seems uninterested in subject-matter. Student reflects very little knowledge about the stereotype, and gave no indication that they researched it to give background info on it.

Student seems somewhat interested in subject-matter. Presented a good amount of information to discussion and provided some background info (history) about stereotype.

Complementing images of stereotype

Images had very little to do with the stereotype, which lead to much confusion of overall comprehension.

Most images complemented the chosen stereotypes to highlight, but one or two seemed to be off topic, and/or a bit confusing.

Every image enhanced the chosen stereotype and made it quite simple for the audience to understand the meaning of the chosen stereotypes. Student was very creative in their choice of complementing images. Really helped to enhance presentation!
Connecting with audience / Delivery

No true attempts to connect with the class to bring them into the presentation: no questions or comments asked of the other students in the class. Student read for the majority, or all of the presentation

Made a decent attempt to connect with the class by asking for someone's opinion or posing a question to them. Involving the class helped the presentation to move along. Student read from notes for at least half of the presentation.

Connected with the class very well! Questions were asked, and comments (opinions) were acknowledged. Student only used note cards as a guide to keep them on track during presentation. Made for a very interesting presentation and discussion!
Use of French

Made very little attempt, if any, to use French during the presentation. Relied heavily on English.

Attempts were made to use French for at least half of the presentation. Even though mistakes were made, student gave their best to use as much French as possible for them.

Very good effort throughout to keep in the target language. Although a few mistakes were made, student could still be understood very easily! Great job!
Pronunciation

Very little effort (if any) to make self understood by having a decent French accent. Too many mistakes in pronunciation lead to an overall misunderstanding of what was being said.

Several mistakes were made in pronunciation which made some things a bit difficult to understand, however, overall comprehension was achieved.

Student showed a tremendous effort to properly pronounce French words correctly, including proper intonation and inflection. Enhanced overall understanding of topic.
