Basic Wiring Circuit Rough In

Boxes Mounted Properly	Mastered Student has the boxes mounted securely in the correct location and at the required height.	Proficient Student has the boxes mounted in the correct location and at required height but may need secured tighter.	Needs Improvement Boxes are in proper location but not at required height and not secured.	Unsatisfactory Boxes are not in proper location. Not installed at correct height or secured properly.	Grade
Cable Installation	Mastered Wire installed properly for the circuit being ran. Correct wire in the boxes. All wire is stapled according to code.	Proficient N.A.	Needs Improvement N.A.	Unsatisfactory Wire not run properly, circuit would not work as wired. Did not follow code requirements.	Grade
Wire Insulation length	Mastered Student has the right amount of insulation inside of the box. The insulation has no cuts anywhere in the circuit.	Proficient Student has more than 1/2" but less than 1" of insulation in the box. The insulation has less than two places cut or ripped in the circuit.	Needs Improvement Student has more than 1" of insulation in the box. The insulation has cuts or rips in more than two place in the circuit.	Unsatisfactory Student has no insulation in the box.	Grade
Neatness	Mastered Student's wiring project has evenly bent wires, all wires are the same length, folded neatly in the box.	Proficient Student's wiring project has some evenly bent wires but not all the way through the project.	Needs Improvement Student's wiring project has different length wires, crammed in the box.	Unsatisfactory Student's wiring project is unorderly to the point that it is not meet code.	Grade
