Students barely attempt to interact and mix the paint. They do not attempt to show expression through their materials.

Students begin to interact with paint and use their fingers to mix the paint. They recognize that they can make designs in the paint by using their fingerprints.
Good

Students have completely interacted with their materials and understand that they can manipulate their paint. They alter their design before deciding on a final composition.
