Creativity/Originality	Superior Student had a creative movie idea and successfully portrayed the idea through their videos and music. The music and movie were the student's idea and were successfully displayed.	Satisfactory Student had a creative idea but struggled to portray meaning through their videos and music.	Needs Improvement Student recreated a previously made video. The movie and music ideas were not their own.
Effectiveness of Music in Movie	Superior The music, created using GarageBand, portrayed the feeling and actions of the video. Ex. Actions scenes had fast, loud music. Sweet scenes had slow, soft music.	Satisfactory The music, creating using GarageBand, sometimes portrayed the feelings and actions of the video. The music and movie could've matched better with more editing.	Needs Improvement The music, created using GarageBand, did not support the idea of the video.
Effort/Participation	Superior Student was focused on the assignment and proactive about creating the music and video. Student was rarely distracted by other devices and had a positive attitude about completing the project.	Satisfactory Student was focused on the assignment with a few distractions. Student was neutral about the assignment but completed the project.	Needs Improvement Student was not focused on the assignment and was consistently distracted. Student complained and had a negative attitude about the project.
Use of Software	Superior Student successfully used iMovie and GarageBand to create their final project. The student is proficient in converting files to MP3, composing a 2 minute song and adding music to iMovie.	Satisfactory Student used iMovie and GarageBand to create final project. The student can use the basics of each program.	Needs Improvement Student used iMovie and GarageBand to create final project. Student knows only enough about the programs to complete the project.
